Barbara I. Kirst of Plymouth, WI, entered the fullness of Eternal Life at her home on March 16, 2022 at
the age of 75.
Barbara was born on April 8, 1946 at 10:25 AM at Dora Spoerl Maternity Home, Campbellsport, WI, a
daughter of the late Raymond and Rosella (Burmeister) Ernst.
Barb attended Greenbush Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in June 4, 1964.
On December 27, 1974, she was united in marriage to Elgene A. Nuhlicek, they separated and he passed
away. On October 7, 1998, she was united in marriage to Rochus Voeller Jr. at St. John the Baptist
Catholic Church in Plymouth. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1982. On June 20, 1987, she was
united in marriage to Raymond E. Kirst at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. He passed
away on June 11, 2005.
On September 2, 1964 Barb worked for Borden’s Cheese Company in Plymouth which later became
Dairy Farmers of America retiring on October 8, 2012 after 48 years.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and a member of the Quarter
Century Club at Borden’s .
Barb loved reading, working on “Find and Circle Books”, traveling, shopping especially at Hallmark and
Helping famiiy and friends.
Survivors include: Two Brothers: Richard Ernst of Sheboygan, Robert (Tina) Ernst of Greenbush, Five
Sisters; Ann (Roger) Schneider of Kewaskum , Lorrie (Gene) Rooker of Plymouth, Linda (Tom) Schwinn of
West Bend, Mary Perman of Plymouth, Eileen (Roland) Hoftiezer of Plymouth, Step Grandson: Chad
Voeller of Fond du Lac, and two Step Great Grandsons: Alex and Rochus J. Voeller of Fond du Lac. Barb
is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two brothers: William “Billy” Ernst and Roger J.
Ernst, brother-in-law: Richard “Dick” Perman, sister-in-law: Joann A. Ernst, Nephew: Scott R. Schneider,
Stepchildren: Rocky, Thomas, Bryon and Rachel Voeller, three Aunts: Her Godmother: Ida Krueger and
her husbands, Joe and Ralph, Fern (Atville) Zielieke, Stella (Tramm) Benn, Four Uncles: Lester (Ruth)
Burmeister, Martin Ernst, Charles (Mary) Ernst, Godfather: Roman (Lilah) Ernst and a very best friend:
Jean Steinhardt.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday Morning (March 22, 2022) at 11: 30 A.M. at St. John the Baptist
Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Philip Reifenberg, Pastor of the Church will officiate. Burial will be
in St. Thomas Aquinas South Cemetery in Greenbush, WI.
Visitation will be held on Monday (March 21, 2022) from 6:30-8:30pm and again on Tuesday (March 22)
from 10:00-11:00am at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth with Mass to follow at the Church at
11:30am.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial well be set aside for all the staff members especially Chemo Area to enjoy
fruit, chips and cookies at the Matthew Oncology Associates Office in Sheboygan, Autism Society, and St.
John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.

Brothers: Richard and Robert, sisters: Lorrie, Mary, Ann and Linda my care givers that help me prepare
for my journey, and especially Eileen and Roland. You don’t know how much I will miss all of you, but
this mother hen has to let you go. Be happy and enjoy your life. Til we meet again.
