Frieda E. “Tudy” Larson, 100, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday morning, March 15, 2022 at Countryside Manor where she had been residing.
Born March 24, 1921 in Sheboygan, Frieda was the daughter of the late Carl, Sr. and Elizabeth Menzer Weber. She attended Trinity Lutheran School and vocational school. On may 2, 1942, she was united in marriage to Morris Larson at Trinity Lutheran Church. They were married for 62 years before Morris preceded her in death on May 17, 2004.
In 1952, they moved to Michigan where she was employed at the General Motors Tech Center where she retired in 1980 after 25 years of service. Frieda loved to cook, bake, crochet and sew. She also loved to play bingo and go bowling. She attended bible class and read her bible and loved attending church. She also enjoyed helping people in need, especially her family.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Morris; her son, James; three brothers, Carl, Jr., Henry and Jacob; three sisters, Marie Reineking, Emma Post and Esther Schultz; four nephews, Carl Weber, Wayne Post, James Post and Carl “Billy” Schultz; and a niece, Diane Hennell.
Funeral services for Frieda will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Avenue, Sheboygan. The Rev. Timothy Mech will officiate. Family and friends are welcome at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name for Trinity Lutheran Church and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Countryside Manor and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
The Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service has been entrusted with Frieda’s arrangements.
