You can expect many more opportunities to get out and enjoy special events compared with the past two years, based upon plans being approved at the municipal level.
The Sheboygan Common Council agenda Monday night included two of those events, one for permitting a fire at Fountain Park during this coming Saturday’s Winterfest Event. That’s described as a free, family-friendly festival with activites, games, food and crafts, and sponsored by various neighborhood organizations.
Another item on Monday’s agenda concerns and agreement between the City of Sheboygan, Lakeland University and Kohler Credit Union regarding the 2022 Memorial Day Parade.
And in the City of Plymouth on Tuesday, the Common Council is expected to approve the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade scheduled for Thursday,, March 17th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
More such events are likely to be coming as the COVID-19 pandemic wanes and a largely vaccinated, pandemic-weary public returns to a more typical routine.
