Ms. Mary Elsie Goldbeck age 69 of Sheboygan WI passed away peacefully on Thursday,
February 3, 2022 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mary was born on January 4th, 1953 in Chicago IL to Charles and Lela (Schwader) Goldbeck.
She attended and graduated from Bremen High School in Midlothian IL. In 1987 Mary moved to
Plymouth WI to be near family. For most of Mary’s life she was a General Manager for hotels
and later became an amazing caregiver. Mary spent many hours doing crafting which earned
her the name “Crafty Grammy” as she loved doing this with her grandchildren and great nieces
and nephews. She also loved making all natural essential oil products and spoiling her family
with all of her amazing creations. She was very talented in many ways. In her younger years
she loved to sew and make clothing. She was a free spirit and wanted to make a difference in
the world and she believed in world peace.
Mary is survived by her loving son James (Lucy) Goldbeck, grandchildren Paige, Izzy, sister
Loretta Goldbeck (Henkel), nieces Connie (Will) Burrage, Chrystie Galbari, Phalen Galbari
(Goddaughter), and nephew Charles Goldbeck. She is also survived by many great nieces and
nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Lela Goldbeck and sisters Charlene
(Goldbeck) Herman and Deborah (Goldbeck) Galbari.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 8, from 10 am until 11:30
am at Wittkopp Funeral and Cremation Service, 123 South Street Plymouth A graveside
service will be held at 12 Noon at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Plymouth with Fr. Philip
Reifenberg officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Mary’s name may be directed to James Goldbeck, at 615 S 8TH
ST STE 110-3, Sheboygan, WI 53081.
