(WHBL) – The Wisconsin Badgers held off a late rally from Nebraska to pick up a 73-65 Big Ten win on Thursday afternoon.
Brad Davison led the charge with 21 points, Chucky Hepburn and Johnny Davis added 13, and Steven Crowl chipped in 12.
Davison hit a pair of milestones in the game, becoming the all-time leader in made three-point baskets and also hauling in his 5ooth career rebound.
Wisconsin won the game despite getting outshot by the Huskers. Nebraska shot 40% from the field (22-55) while the Badgers shot just 36.8% (25-68).
Bryce McGowens led the Huskers with 23 points.
Wisconsin improves to 16-3, 7-2 in the Big Ten and are tied for first in the Big Ten with Illinois. Nebraska drops to 6-14 and 0-9 in the Big Ten.
The Badgers return home on Sunday to host Minnesota. Pregame coverage begins at 11 AM, with game time at noon.
