Harriet R. Stichert, age 84, of Sheboygan, died peacefully on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Sharon S. Ricardson Community Hospice. She was born in Sheboygan Falls on October 18, 1937, the daughter of the late Harry and Queenie Melendy Lange.
She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1956. On December 15, 1956, she was united in marriage to Frederick Stichert at Faith United Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls.
Harriet was homemaker and took pride in raising her three daughters, Sara, Donna, and Lora. She was a current member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Sheboygan. Harriet enjoyed gardening, sewing, watching late night television, her cats, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her three daughters, Sara Stichert, of Oshkosh, Donna Stichert and Lora (Daniel) Landgraf, both of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Elizabeth (Lance) Stratton, of Oshkosh, and Melissa (Andrew) Peterson, of Cleveland, WI; two great-grandchildren, Evan, and Eve Stratton; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Jean Stichert, of Sheboygan. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Her parents, husband and a grandson, Bradley Landgraf, all preceded her in death.
In accordance with the family’s wishes a private service will be held.
A memorial fund has been established in Harriet’s name. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Allison E. Soerens of the Aurora Sheboygan Clinic Cedar Grove for the compassion and care that was given to her.
