Winnebago Sheriff: Missing 15-Year-Old Found Safe

(WHBL) – The months-long search for a missing teenager in Winnebago County is over, but the investigation into her disappearance is not.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday said they have found 15-year-old Aliyah Tritt.  She’s been missing since early last month.  Investigators are not saying where they found her, though they say “a network of adults” was helping to hide her.  The sheriff’s office says the investigation into those adults is on-going.
