(WHBL) – The Milwaukee man accused of leaning inside a Burger King drive-thru in a deadly robbery attempt will stay in jail until he comes-up with 100 thousand-dollars.
A judge has ordered Antoine Edwards held on a 100 thousand-dollars cash bail. Police say Edwards is the man who started the robbery that ended with 16-year-old Niesha Harris-Brazell’s death.
Investigators on Friday said the robbery appeared staged, and they believe that Harris-Brazell was in on the plan.
Milwaukee Police continue to look for the man who fired the shots that killed Harris-Brazell. Derrick Ellis was an employee at the Burger King and was trying to shoot Edwards at the time. Authorities say Ellis was not in on the staged robbery.
