OOSTBURG, Wis. (WHBL) – One person was killed after a crash on I-43 northbound north of Cedar Grove Wednesday afternoon. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department was called out around 1:30 after several 911 calls reporting the crash near DeWitt Road, in the Town of Holland. Investigators say a car heading north left the highway, hit the guardrail, and the driver was found dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and traffic on I-43 Northbound had to be diverted off the highway at the Cedar Grove exit. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.
