
Lynette Kather, 74, of Amberg, passed away Monday December 13, 2021 at home
surrounded by her family. She was born in Sheboygan on June 11, 1947;
daughter of the late Dennis and Carmen (Rasmusan) Kopf. Lynette
graduated from Kohler High School in 1965. She started working at a
young age at Memorial Hospital and went to Nursing School in Green Bay
to become an LPN. Lynette met John, the love of her life in 1969 and the
couple was united in marriage in September of 1970. She retired from
Memorial Hospital after 46 years. She loved trap shooting with her family
as well as golfing with all her friends. She and John enjoyed wintering in
Arizona for 7 years. What brought Lynette her most enjoyment was
spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They meant
the world to her.
Lynette is survived by her husband John; two children: Jennifer (Jason)
Traas and Chad J. (Tami) Kather; four grandchildren: Kaylee, Emilee,
Marek, and Ryan; two great grandchildren: Olivia and Abel; five brothers:
Lawrence “Duffy” (Pam) Kopf, Tim (Patti) Kopf, Scott Kopf, TJ (Sara) Kopf
and Cal Kopf; sister-in-law, Carol; and numerous nieces and nephews. She
was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Dorothy
and Wilbert; and brother-in-law, Bob.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at a later date and will be
announced.
Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee is assisting her family with
arrangements.
