(WHBL) – Add a lawsuit from the Republican frontrunner for governor to the investigations into last year’s vote here in Wisconsin.
Candidate and former lieutenant governor Rebecca Kleefisch on Monday asked the Wisconsin Supreme Court to remind the Wisconsin Elections Commission about its duty to follow the state’s election laws. Kleefisch wants the court to rule on whether ballot drop boxes will be allowed next year, as well as correct WEC’s advice to local election managers about closing polling places, and WEC’s order to nursing home staffers to fill-out ballots for elderly voters.
Kleefisch says, as a candidate, she will be harmed if WEC is not forced to follow the state’s election laws.
