The Sheboygan County Board Chairman Vern Koch is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Board of Supervisors.
District 3 Supervisor Vicky Schneider is reportedly preparing to move outside the district, making a replacement necessary. District 3 includes Wards 11 and 13 in the City of Sheboygan.
Candidates must be a qualified elector from that supervisory district and, once appointed, will receive a base annual salary of $2,100 plus mileage reimbursement and a per diem paid for County Board and committee meetings.
One candidate will be appointed by Chairman Koch, but must also be approved by the County Board to serve the remainder of Schneider’s two-year term expiring in April of next year.
Applications must be received no later than 5 PM Friday, December 3rd.
