Traffic is flowing again on a stretch of Union Avenue near Horace Mann Middle School. The project that installed new pavement, curbs, gutters and sidewalk between Georgia Avenue and South 26th street also involved storm sewer work, and had closed that street since July 26th.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works said on Wednesday that the only work remaining is installation of street lighting. That will be done later this year and no further closures are anticipated.
