ST. LOUIS, MO (WHBL) – Dylan Carlson hit two home runs as the St. Louis Cardinals rallied for a 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday afternoon at Busch Stadium.
Carlson launched a solo shot in the third inning and added a two-run blast in the sixth. J.A. Happ won his 10th game of the year after allowing three runs and striking out seven over six-and-one-third innings.
Luis Urias homered for Milwaukee and Tyrone Taylor had three hits. Omar Narvaez and Keston Hiura had the other RBIs. It was Hiura’s first appearance since returning from the minor leagues.
Brett Anderson gave up two runs over five innings and Miguel Sanchez took the loss in relief.
The Brewers head to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers in the final series of the regular season beginning Friday night. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 8:35.
