MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – It was an ugly day for the Brewers on their home field on Monday.
Milwaukee allowed six home runs, including a grand slam as they fell 12-0 to the Philadelphia Phillies.
Brandon Woodruff allowed four runs over six innings to take the loss. Woodruff gave up three home runs in a game for the first time in his career. Brad Boxberger allowed five runs without recording an out.
Former Brewer Jean Segura hit the grand slam off Daniel Norris. Brad Miller went deep twice for Philly.
Philadelphia’s Zack Wheeler scattered five singles in six innings of work with six strikeouts and no walks.
