Michael “Mike” Kreutz, age 61, of Sheboygan, passed away on August 31, 2021 at Aurora Sheboygan
Memorial Medical Center, with family by his side.
He was born in Sheboygan on September 12, 1959, a son to Janet (Cinealis) Barbeau and the late James
Kreutz Sr. Mike attended Sheboygan North High School and received his degree for Journeyman
Maintenance from LTC.
On January 19, 1985, he married Kim Roth at St. Paul UCC in Sheboygan. Together they had 2
daughters, Mallory and Hillary.
Mike worked for many years at Pentair (Ametek) until his retirement, and was a member of the
Sheboygan Pine Club and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, watching a good western, taking care of his dogs, and his daily trip
to the grocery store. Mike loved his Packers, watching all Wisconsin sports, and greatly enjoyed
watching NASCAR. He also had wonderful memories helping his Brother, Billy, as a crew member on the
Winged Super Modified at the EWSC Plymouth Dirt Track and won back to back championships. He
loved racing and made so many friends around the dirt track (or beerstand).
Mike cherished the time he had with family and friends. He was always checking in with his daughters to
see what they were up to and how his grandkids were doing when he wasn’t able to be with them.
Survivors include: Daughters: Mallory (Ben) Van Wyk of Sheboygan and Hillary Kreutz of Sheboygan
Falls; Grandchildren: Carter and Tanner Van Wyk; Ex-wife: Kim Roth; Mother: Janet Barbeau of
Sheboygan; Siblings: Jim Jr. (Linda), Steve (Colleen), Mark, David, and Kathleen all of Sheboygan, and
