Dana Andrew Zenil, age 48, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at
the Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, WI.
Dana was born on August 23, 1973, to Mark and Diane (Bailey) Zenil in Milwaukee, WI. Dana graduated
from West Bend – West with the Class of 1991. After high school, he took certification classes through
Milwaukee Graphic Art Institute. He worked for Quad Graphics for several years before working at
Zimmermann Printing as a Pre-Press and Digital Specialist for nearly 28 years. He also worked as a “lunch
lady” at Lincoln-Erdmann Elementary School in Sheboygan for several years.
On June 12, 1999, Dana was united in marriage to Kathleen Maciejewski in Grafton. Together, they had
two sons, Jack and Trevor who they have raised in Sheboygan.
Dana will be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father, son, brother, and friend. In his free
time, he enjoyed RC racing and making the wraps for the cars. He loved listening to music of all kinds. He
enjoyed fishing with his son, Jack, and friends from work. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed creating
meals for his family with his son, the sous chef, Trevor.
Dana is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kathleen “Kit” Zenil; sons, Jack and Trevor Zenil; siblings, Tracy
Zenil and Mark Zenil Jr.; mother, Diane Zenil; sisters-in-law, Felice Maciejewski, Leah (Robert)
Malingowski, Rachel (Earl) Schlueter, and Mary Caswell; brother-in-law, Andrew Maciejewski; nieces and
nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Dana is preceded in death by his father, Mark Zenil; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Mari
(Walczak) Maciejewski; and brother-in-law, Gerard Maciejewski.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at (12:00/12:15) at St. Dominic’s Catholic
Church in Sheboygan with Father Norberto Sandoval officiating.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at St. Dominic’s
Catholic Church.
