Glenn H. Klemme, age 67, of Sheboygan, WI, passed away unexpectedly (August 17, 2021) at his home
where he resided with his wife Normajean.
He was born on July 1, 1954 in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late Harris A. and Delores (Popp) Klemme.
Glenn graduated from Kohler High School in 1972 and married Darlene Spindler after High School.
Glenn was a very proud employee of the J.L. French Company in Sheboygan and a member of the
Quarter Century Club where he worked for 29 years. He also worked as a supervisor for both the EST
Industry in Grafton and Watry Industry in Sheboygan for several years. Most recently worked for Aurora
Health Care for 9 years before retiring due to health conditions.
On April 30, 2004, he married Normajean Schneider at Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth. The
couple has resided in Sheboygan since their marriage.
He was a former member of Waldo Lions Club and served on the Waldo Village Board for several years.
He also supported and volunteered for the Sturgeons for Tomorrow, Brothertown Indian Nation, and
most recently the USA Patriots Wounded Warriors Amputee Kids Camp. Glenn also gave his time to the
Fond du Lac Humane Society.
While attending Salem Plankroad UCC he was a member of the choir, the dartball team, church council,
and coached youth volleyball. He also coached baseball for 4-H and Sheboygan Falls Rec League.
Glenn enjoyed hunting; fishing, playing Bingo, and supporting his Wisconsin sports teams, shooting pool
with his special friend Todd Schaeffer and loved watching his grandchildren participate in activities.
Survivors include: His wife: Normajean of Sheboygan; Sister: Pattie Lynn (Scott) Wagner of Sheboygan;
Brother: Todd Klemme of Crivitz; Three children: Richard (Nicole) Klemme of Plymouth and their
children: Jamar, Thomas, Jayden and Deondre Klemme of Plymouth and great-grandchild: Janiyah, Philip
(Kristal) Klemme of Sheboygan Falls and their children: Eric, Allison and Isaac Klemme, and Dawn (Paul)
Rousse of Waldo and their child: Aliza; Mother-in-law: Lynda Schneider of Menasha; Sister-in-law:
Wendy (Ted) Kersten of Menasha and nephew: Trent Kersten; and Brothers-in-law: Warren “Butch”
(Sulie) Schneider of Kiel and Andrew Schneider of Sheboygan and his daughter: Lainee. He is also
survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Two Brothers: Gary and Mark Klemme, One Sister: Barbara
Ann (Joseph) Haen along with numerous uncles and aunts.
Funeral services will be held on Monday evening (August 23, 2021) at 7:00 PM at the Suchon Funeral
Home in Plymouth. Rev. James Hoppert, Pastor of Salem United Church of Christ in Plymouth will
officiate. Cremation will follow the services.
Visitation will take place on Monday (Aug. 23) at the Suchon Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until the time
of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Glenn’s name.
