Bryan Dickmann, age 85, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on
Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Meadowview Health Services in Sheboygan.
Bryan was born on April 26, 1936, to John and Wilma (Mundt) Dickmann in Sheboygan, WI. He
attended Sheboygan Central High School until he volunteered for the United States Navy. He
served from August 1954 to July 1958 in the Southeast Pacific on the USS Cimarron.
On June 5, 1965, Bryan was united in marriage to Jean Rickmeyer at St. Mark’s UCC in
Cleveland, WI. Together, they raised their two children, Deb and Linda. He worked several jobs
over his lifetime and retired as a custodian from Acuity Insurance in 1998.
Bryan enjoyed spending time with his family. He treasured the moments he was able to spend
with them around the dinner table and at family gatherings and holidays.
Bryan will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Jean; daughters, Deb (Todd) Clark of
Stevens Point and Linda (Jeff) Luedtke of Menomonee Falls; granddaughter, Sydney Clark who
is attending UW – Madison; sister, Karen (Jim) Birschbach; nieces and nephews; and other
relatives and friends.
Bryan was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy (Jack) Gehr; father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Norman and Irene (Klemm) Rickmeyer; and brother-in-law, Earl Rickmeyer.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at St. Paul’s UCC (2114
Wedemeyer St, Sheboygan, WI 53081) with Reverend Jeremy Hylen officiating. A public
visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Bryan’s name to St. Paul’s UCC.
