TREE REMOVAL WILL REQUIRE NORTH SIDE STREET CLOSURE

The ongoing efforts to remove dead and dying trees – mostly victims of the Emerald Ash Borer – will require Cooper Avenue between North 20th and 22nd Streets, which fronts Cooper Elementary School, to be closed from 7 AM until 5 PM today.

The program to manage the invasive Emerald Ash Borer affecting about 5,000 trees in the city began some 5 years ago.
