(WHBL) – More people are souring in their view of how Wisconsin is doing.
A new Marquette University Law School Poll shows 51% of people think the state is on the wrong track. Just 38% say the state is headed in the right direction. In March of last year, 61-percent of people thought the state was headed in the right direction while only 30% said the state was on the wrong track.
On the question of whether government in Wisconsin is working as intended or broken, only 32% said it was working. A whopping 60% said it was broken. The news is worse for the federal government. Just 10% said it’s working while 84% say it’s broken.
The poll also shows more people think the coronavirus lockdowns did more harm than good. Thirty-five-percent of people say the lockdowns were an overreaction. Last March, that number was just 10%.
