SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) – Sheboygan Police are investigating a drunk driving crash Thursday night that seriously injured two people on the city’s north side.
It was around 8:15 when officers responded to N. 18th and Calumet, where a 52 year old man was northbound. As he turned onto Calumet Avenue from N. 18th, a car heading south on Calumet slammed into his vehicle. The 52 year old man and a 39 year old passenger from the other vehicle were airlifted by Flight For Life to Froedert in Milwaukee.
The 32 year old that was driving the other car was taken to the Sheboygan County Detention Center and is facing a charge of drunk driving causing great bodily harm.
The State Patrol and Sheriff’s Department are both assisting in the investigation.
