Donna M. Bramstedt, age 77, of the Town of Herman, passed away at her home on August 2, 2021 following a
courageous battle with cancer and Alzheimer’s.
She was born on February 2, 1944 in Glenbeulah, WI, a daughter of the late James and Vera (Webb) Mullen.
Donna attended Glenbeulah Public Grade School and graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 1962.
Donna was employed at Sargento Cheese, where she worked in the lab. Later on in life she went to work for
Borden Company in Plymouth and that’s where she met her husband, Allan.
On August 29, 1964, she married Allan Bramstedt at St. Fridolin’s Church in Glenbeulah, WI.
Donna started working for the Howards Grove School District in the food service department and later at Bitter
Neumann & Co in the Bakery.
Donna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. She was on the Altar Guild, helped serve
funeral luncheons and volunteering at Bethesda.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, friends, and her favorite companions: Benji, Casey,
Sammy, and Moses.
Donna and her husband Allan loved traveling to Switzerland, Holland, Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Alaska,
Canada, Hawaii, and Panama Canal.
Survivors include her husband: Allan of the Town of Herman; Daughter: Julie Kalk (special friend: Dennis Bouvat) of
Plymouth; Son: Jerry (Julie) Bramstedt of Kiel; Seven cherished grandchildren: Sydney Kalk, Chloe Kalk, Justin
Bramstedt, Jacob Bramstedt, Richelle Bramstedt, Josiah Penniman, and Benjamin Penniman; Brother: Dale (Kathy)
Mullen; Three sisters-in-law: Janice (Roger) Lieffring of Sheboygan, Lori (Mark) Feldman or Elkhart Lake, and Sue
Bramstedt of Howards Grove; Three brothers-in-law: Dale (Kathy) Bramstedt of Kiel, Dennis Bramstedt of
Cleveland, and Bernie Basler or Plymouth.
She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents; Sisters: Phyllis (Arthur) Thiessen, Shirley (Melvin)
Kraemer and Mary Basler; Sister-in-law: Cindy Bramstedt; Brother-in-law: Orlynn Bramstedt, Father and Mother-in-
law: Willard (Winona) Bramstedt; and Infant Grandson: Reece Kalk.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday (August 7, 2021) at 12:00 Noon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards
Grove. Rev. Darrel Bergelin, Pastor of the Church will officiate. Burial will take place at the Trinity Lutheran
Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday (Aug. 7) at CHURCH from 10:00 AM until time of Services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Donna’s name.
