(WHBL) – A Fond du Lac man is behind bars after leading Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high speed chase in a stolen car early Wednesday morning.
It was around 3am when a deputy tried to stop a car on 23 near County “O.” The driver fled, spike strips were set up, and the front tires of the car were deflated at 23 & County “P.” The car kept on going until Ridge Road.
Deputies then performed a high-risk traffic stop and learned the car was stolen. They also discovered the driver didn’t have a license, but he did have marijuana in his car. The driver was also out on bail.
He’s facing charges of fleeing, bail jumping, possession of THC, operating without a license, and operating a car without the owner’s consent.
