Beginning on Tuesday, there will be another two road projects requiring Sheboygan motorists to navigate as crews repair storm sewers, improve the concrete sidewalk and pave the street with new asphalt.
On the city’s north side, Park Avenue, which marks Vollrath Park’s south border, will be closed to traffic between North 3rd and Barrett Streets. The closure, which should last till late this month, will have traffic using Lincoln Avenue during the project.
And on the south side, the South 12th Street and Greenfield Avenue intersection will be closed beginning on Tuesday as part of ongoing improvements to South 12th Street, detouring traffic about a half mile west to South 18th Street, then onto Parkwood Boulevard. While that stretch should be finished later this month, the remaining work on South 12th street will take until late summer to complete.
