MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Brook Lopez scored 33 points as the shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks beat the shorthanded Atlanta Hawks 123-112 in Game Five of the Eastern Conference Finals in Milwaukee on Thursday night.
The Bucks were without star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo while the Hawks were without guard Trae Young.
Khris Middleton added 26 points and 13 rebounds for Milwaukee. Jrue Holiday pitched in 25 for the Bucks, who take a 3-2 series lead.
Bogdan Bogdanovic led the Hawks with 28 points.
Game Six is Saturday night in Atlanta.
