With vaccination rates in Sheboygan County slumping and failing to reach goals on time, the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health has begun to look at holding vaccination clinics at upcoming community events.
According to Public Health Division Manager Starrlene Grossman, clinics have now been scheduled at several local farms as well as at some churches, and “Walk-in Wednesday” vaccination clinics have now begun at the Health and Human Services Building in alignment with the weekly Farmers Market held across the street at Fountain Park. Homebound vaccinations also continue, and you can schedule those with the Division of Public Health through the Vaccine Hotline at 920-395-9890.
Some events that the DPH have either scheduled, or are working on for vaccinations include:
Brat Days
The Sheboygan County Fair
Night Market
National Night Out
Homeless Transient PIT Breakfast
Midsummer Festival of the Arts at JMKAC
and
Food Truck Monday/Thursday Events
Note: not all events have been finalized and are subject to change.
