MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers erupted for seven hits and 10 runs in the eighth inning to beat the Chicago Cubs 14-4 at American Family Field on Monday night.
Jackie Bradley Jr. broke a 4-4 tie with an RBI double in the eighth. Willy Adames and Keston Hiura each homered in the eighth, driving in a combined six of the 10 total runs scored in that inning.
Reliever Devin Williams earned his fifth win, as the Brewers have won six straight and eight of their last nine.
Patrick Wisdom and Ian Happ each hit two-run homers for Chicago. Ryan Tepera was charged with his second loss.
The Cubs have lost four straight.
