PHOENIX, AZ (WHBL) – Brandon Woodruff led the Milwaukee Brewers to a 3-2 victory over the Diamondbacks in Phoenix on Wednesday afternoon. The left-hander only gave up one run in seven frames while fanning nine, and also plated a run.
Avisail Garcia and Jackie Bradley Jr. added RBI’s as the Brewers won the rubber match of the three-game set.
Milwaukee now gets a day off on Thursday before returning home to American Family Field for a three-game weekend series against the Colorado Rockies.
Friday’s game is set for 3:10 p.m. as the Brewers are hosting Reopening Day to celebrate moving to full capacity at the ballpark.
