SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – The Sheboygan Police Department says that both the suspect and the victim in a stabbing incident have been jailed.
Police say a 39-year-old Oshkosh man was taken into custody and referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for a charge of substantial battery and resisting arrest. The suspect was reportedly at a gathering at a residence in the 1800 block of Bell Avenue late Wednesday night when an argument broke out between one of the guests and a resident from that location. During the disturbance the suspect reportedly brandished a knife and stabbed the resident multiple times.
The wounds inflicted were non-life threatening to the 29-year-old victim, who was treated for injuries at the hospital, and then jailed on a charge of battery and for a probation violation.
