
David L. Deicher “Fast & Furious”, age 69, of Plymouth, WI, passed away at his home on May 31, 2021
after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on October 26, 1951 in Green Bay, WI, a son of the late Raymond Sr. and Irmgard (Wessel)
Deicher. Dave attended Green Bay Grade Schools and graduated from Green Bay West High School in
1970.
In 1997, he married Judy Ploeger. He worked at Gilson Brothers in Plymouth, Masters Gallery and retired
from JL French/Nemak in 2016.
Dave raced for more than 30 years with the E.W.S.C. and started in the Sportsmen Division before
moving into Superwing Modified to Mini Sprints and back to Superwing Modified. After Dave retired
from racing, he became the main flagman at Plymouth Dirt Track until 2020.
Besides racing he also enjoyed going for rides on his Harley Trike with his wife.
Survivors include his loving wife: Judy of Plymouth; two daughters: Sandi (Khou) Lee of Plymouth and
Jessica (Billy) Allen of Kohler; three grandchildren: Malik Lee, Brielle Lee, and Jace Allen; Brother:
Raymond (Sharie) Deicher of Florida; Sister: Sue (Orv) Last of Little Suamico; Step-brother: Terry (Diane)
Hooper of Appleton; thee brothers-in-law: Keith (Mary) Ploeger of Kiel, Brian (Wanda) Ploeger of
Mountain, and Dean (Sasha) Wilmot of Kiel; and his nephews who were dear to his heart: Steve and Paul
Deicher both of Green Bay.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Mother and father-in-law: Helen and Francis Wilmot; and
brother-in-law: Gary Ploeger.
Visitation will be held on Saturday (June 5 th , 2021) at the Suchon Funeral Home from 10:30 AM – 3:00
PM, with a service to follow at 3:00 PM. Registered Minister Shelia Lackershire, will officiate. Cremation
will take place following the services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Dave’s name for the Plymouth Dirt Track.
