MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – In a rare offensive outburst, the Milwaukee Brewers hit five home runs on Tuesday night but it wasn’t enough. They lost to the Detroit Tigers 10-7 at American Family Field as the two teams split their two-game series.
Detroit scored six runs in the 2nd inning off Eric Lauer who took the loss.
For Milwaukee, Kolten Wong and Tyrone Taylor had two home runs each and Luis Urias had one. Wong had 3 RBIs in the game.
Former Brewer Jonathan Schoop had two homers for Detroit. Eric Haase also went deep twice for the Tigers.
Wednesday is an off-day for the Brewers. They begin a four game series with the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday at American Family Field.
