Jon P. Waldron, Sr. age 84 of Sheboygan passed away Thursday May 27, 2021 at his home. Born March
17, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Lawrence and Helen (Satterlee) Waldron, he attended local
schools and graduated from Washburn High School. On October 18, 1958 he was united in marriage to
Leah Israelson at St. Anne’s Church in Le Sueur, MN. He worked for many years as a salesman in the
meat industry.Jon was an avid hunter and fisherman, played tennis and racquetball , enjoyed gardening
, volunteered with Toys for Tots and was a active member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish. Jon loved his
grandchildren greatly.
Jon is survived by his wife of 62 years, Leah, 2sons, Grant and Jon, Jr. (Vicky) , 2 daughters; Linda (Del)
Kauss and Gina Bennett, 7 grandchildren; Kyle, John, Caleb, Alison, Erin, Quinn and Elizabeth, 2 great
grandchildren; Brody and a baby girl yet to be named, a sister; Peggy Sperry. He is further survived by
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lawrence and 2 sisters, Helen and Virginia.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Holy Name of Jesus
Parish, 818 Huron Ave. Sheboygan. Rev. Norberto Sandoval will celebrate the Mass. Family and friends
are welcome at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Inurnment will follow at Calvary
Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, prayers for the family are preferred.
