Drivers in many parts of Sheboygan County will need to be aware of some maintenance work being done this week.
On Wednesday and Thursday between 7 AM and 4 PM each day, crews will be repairing bridge approaches on both directions of 23 at Highway 57, closing various lanes during repairs.
Drainage ditch repairs on southbound 57 south of Waldo will mean various lane closures on Tuesday between 6 AM and 4 PM.
Roadway sweeping will be conducted on both directions of Highway 23 on Monday and Tuesday between 6 AM and 4 PM, with moving lane closures planned there.
And on I-43, moving lane closures will be scheduled Monday and Tuesday between 6 and 4 to sweep lanes in both directions.
Extra attention and caution is being requested by the DOT for safety in these areas.
