MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – It took 11 innings but the Brewers were able to walk off the defending World Series Champion LA Dodgers 6-5 on Saturday night at American Family Field.
Travis Shaw’s RBI single capped off a three-run bottom of the 11th and give the Crew the win. Shaw was one of three batters to finish the game with two hits, while also picking up two RBI.
Avisail Garcia finished 2-4 with one RBI and two walks. Luis Urias was 2-3 with two RBI and a run scored.
Brandon Woodruff turned in a quality start by going 6 innings and allowing two earned runs. Angel Berdomo was credited with the win after he pitched the final two outs of the 11th, issuing one walk and one strikeout. It was the first win of Berdomo’s career.
