Donna Blanke

Donna M. Blanke, age 65, of Sheboygan Falls, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on March 9,
2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Donna was born on January 3 rd , 1956 in Plymouth, WI a daughter of Walter Nytes Sr. and
Margaret (Korff) Nytes.
She attended Hingham/Oostburg Grade Schools and graduated from Oostburg High School.
On April 28, 1973 she married Gregory E. Blanke in Adell, WI.
Donna served in the United States Army during the Persian Gulf War (Perscom) in the U.S. Personal
Command Center in Casualty and Mortuary Affairs Operations Division (CCAOD) and also served
in the U.S. Army Reserves for 13 years.
She worked at many different jobs in the area and was unit secretary for Aurora Health Care
for many years.
Donna is a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and served as the local chapter
service officer. She enjoyed helping other veterans. She also loved watching Stock Car Racing,
the Green Bay Packers and their family FPI Group.
Survivors include: her husband; Gregory of Sheboygan Falls, one daughter; Ingrid Blanke of Sheboygan
and son: Glen Blanke of Sheboygan Falls. Grandchildren; Justin Green of Sheboygan Falls, Alivia Blanke
of Sheboygan Falls, Symone Hohensee of NY, Jasmine Carrington-Fields of Milwaukee and Step-
grandson; Devon Hoppe-Winkler of Milwaukee. Four Great Grandchildren: Yoni of New York and
Amiyah, C.J. and Brooklyn of Milwaukee. Sister; Rose (Harold) Whipple of Sheboygan and Brother;
Ernest (Sherry) Nytes of Plymouth. Mother-in-law; Irene Blanke of Sheboygan Falls, and in-laws: David
(Christina) Blanke of Oregon, Steve (Linda) Blanke of Texas and Lori Cline of Adell, WI and Paul (Marla)
Blanke of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Three brothers; two infant and Walter Nytes Jr., Sisters;
Lorraine (Lazurn) Brown, Lucille Gilsdorf and Her husband’s, Delmar Schipper and Richard Gilsdorf and
Carol (Robert) Knepprath and father-in-law: Earl W. Blanke and brother-in-law: Russell Cline Jr.
Following Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be NO VISITATION OR SERVICES.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Donna’s name.
