Monica Michelle Walker
The 51-year-old driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal rollover crash on I-43 on Monday morning in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids has been identified as Monica Michelle Walker of Manitowoc. Walker’s 9-year-old granddaughter, Tkyia J. Brewer, also of Manitowoc, died from blunt force trauma injuries she suffered when she was ejected from the vehicle. She wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
While formal charges are still pending, Walker’s bail was set at $10,000 yesterday and she will next appear in court on February 15th.
