
Gabrielle I. Langhoff,71, of Sheboygan, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Aurora
memorial Sheboygan Medical Center. She was born March 24, 1949 in Milwaukee to Anthony
and Laura (Cataldo) Sorci. Gabrielle graduated from Mesmer High School and attended
M.A.T.C.
On January 30, 1971 she was united in marriage to Gary Langhoff. When Gary was attending
UW Oshkosh, Gabrielle was an Executive Secretary at the John Strange Paper Company in
Menasha. They moved to California when Gary attended Law School. At that time, she worked
as an Aide for the California Department of Health. After raising her family, Gabrielle worked at
JCPenney in the Cosmetic Department, and later at RCS for several years helping take care of
clients who became very special to her.
Gabrielle enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She loved animals especially her cats
Maddie, Sadie, and Sophie. Shopping was her passion and spending time gardening was how
she relaxed. Gabrielle had a heart of gold; she was always there for those who needed her and
was a great friend to many. Her pride and joy were her family, she loved spending time with
them creating lasting memories. Gabrielle is survived by her husband, Gary, of 50 years, two
daughters; Vanessa (John Husa) Langhoff of Sheboygan and Marissa Langhoff of Los Angeles,
CA, by her niece Andrea (Paul) Moriarity and nephew Aaron Hackney, sister-in-law Mary
(Roger) Reichardt and their children; Travis, Adam (Iwona) and Roger (Tania). She was
preceded in death by her parents, sister Antoinette Sorci and two brothers: James Sorci and
Paul Sorci.
Due to Covid-19 a private family service will be held at this time. A Celebration of Gabrielle’s
Life will be held later this summer.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cat House on the Kings, 7120 S. Kings River Rd.
Parlier, CA 93648 in Gabrielle’s name.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Jason Fedlin with Aurora Hospice for all his
care, compassion and support, to the 2 nd floor nurses and to Patti Christel for her years of
friendship, love, and support especially in these last few days.
