SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A driver who caused a hit and run crash on I-43 near Sheboygan early Tuesday morning has been arrested in Ozaukee County.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department responded to a crash on I-43 near Highway 23 shortly before 2am. Deputies learned a speeding car heading south hit another southbound car, causing it to leave the road and crash. The speeding car kept going.
While Kohler Police dealt with the crash, the Sheriff’s Department put out a call to search for the other vehicle, which they found in Ozaukee County.
The driver confessed to the hit and run crash, and was taken into custody. No injuries were reported.
