MADISON, WI (WHBL) – At least one Wisconsin Republican wants to end Governor Tony Evers’ latest mask order. State Senator Steve Nass says the legislature needs to override the governor and his latest extension to the state’s mask requirement.
The governor added 60 more days to his order on Friday. That means Wisconsin will stay under an emergency order and mask requirement until mid-March.
Nass says the governor is overstepping his bounds, and he wants the legislature to reign him in.
