(WHBL) – Community testing in Sheboygan County for COVID-19 by the Wisconsin National Guard is still falling well below the capacity of 450 persons per day. During the local height of the pandemic this past November, some sessions limited out, but things have been much slower since testing was renewed on December 11th.
During the last month of the year, around 600 persons had been tested at the ADRC parking lot on Forest Avenue in Sheboygan Falls. Those sessions are done on Wednesdays and Fridays between 10 AM and 6 PM. According to the National Guard, around 200 persons were tested in two sessions during the first week of this year.
Testing is free to anyone who’s experiencing COVID-like symptoms or who has been in close contact with a known positive case.
Pre-registration isn’t required and won’t reserve a spot, but it does speed up the process and prevents data entry errors. You can do that by going online at COVID-19 Wisconsin Connect.
