ALBANY, WI (WSAU) — Sheriff’s officials in Green County say that a missing five-day-old girl was found dead over the weekend.
Sheriff and Police officials say the girl was born in a home in the Village of Albany on January 5th, then taken from the home by her biological father. He then told investigators had turned the child over to an acquaintance but didn’t know where they had taken her.
That 3rd party has not been identified. Details rounding the child’s death have also not been made public.
The case remains under investigation.
