(WHBL) – Small businesses in Sheboygan County have been granted over 3-1/2 million dollars from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue through the “We’re All In” grants program, the largest direct-aid program for small businesses in Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation history. More than 55,000 state businesses shared over $240 million last year through the program. Funding came from the federal CARES act in three phases starting last summer.
The intent, according to WEDC Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes, was “to get help to as many small businesses as we could, as quickly as we could.”
842 Sheboygan County businesses were given grants of between $2,500 and $5,000 to help soften the blow of the coronavirus pandemic.
