(WHBL) – A 41-year-old Sheboygan man is facing multiple charges after being stopped for driving 109 miles per hour in a 70 MPH zone.
According to reports from TMJ4 in Milwaukee, the stop happened Saturday on I-41 northbound at Highway 11 in Racine County. The State Patrol Officer making the stop said he could smell intoxicants when approaching the vehicle, and a field sobriety test confirmed the driver’s impairment.
A valid felony warrant was also discovered for the man who wasn’t identified. He now faces mandatory license suspension for driving more than 35 MPH over the limit, a felony 4th OWI offense, and charges of refusing a chemical test, operating after revocation, eight counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and two counts of felony bail jumping.
