SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Sheboygan Streets Department Supervisor David Groves said that the city is adjusting its curbside collection schedule due to the upcoming Christmas holiday observance, and also helping you take care of all that wrapping paper, ribbons and bows that need to be tossed afterwards.
First, there won’t be any change to curbside collection with the exception of Friday, December 25th. That collection will be on Saturday the 26th instead. Also, the Recycling Center on New Jersey Avenue will be closed on Christmas Day.
As for those winding up with more trash and recycling than will fit in the carts, the Residential Recycling Center will have extra trucks stationed there from December 21st – 24th, and again from the 28th to the 31st. Residents are being reminded to not bag the recyclables when taking them to the center.
