(WHBL) – The recount in Wisconsin will start on Friday, but it could very well end in a courtroom.
The Wisconsin Elections Commission spent hours Wednesday night bickering over how the recount will move forward, and what the rules will be. The commission is split, three Republicans and three Democrats, and the commissioners have not been able to agree on much for years.
On Wednesday night there was disagreement over where poll watchers will stand, how to treat ballots without the proper addresses, and whether Wisconsin’s voting website may violate state law.
President Trump has asked to recount just the ballots in Milwaukee and Dane counties.
