(WHBL) – Community testing for the COVID-19 coronavirus continues this Wednesday and Friday at the Sheboygan County Aging and Disability Resource Center parking lot in Sheboygan Falls. The regular National Guard testing there began in October and has so far collected over 2,600 specimens. With operations pausing next week Friday after Thanksgiving, and full operations scheduled to conclude on December 9th, the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health is advising that those needing tests register in advance online at register.covidconnect.wi.
Meanwhile, Prevea Health has opened a new COVID-19 testing site at Southtown Mall on South Business Drive. That operation began yesterday and, like the National Guard testing, is free to anyone experiencing symptoms or who’s been in close contact with a known positive case of COVID-19. Prevea requires signup in advance through their online patient portal at myprevea.com, and same-day appointments are possible.
