TEL AVIV (Reuters) – An Israeli soldier reported missing this week was found dead in the occupied West Bank on Thursday, the Israeli military said.
The soldier’s body was found near a military checkpoint close to Jerusalem, the military said in a statement.
Israel’s military and police were investigating the circumstances of his death.
