MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Democratic Presidental nominee Joe Biden has announced that he will hold a live stream event in Milwaukee on Friday to encourage Wisconsin residents to get out and vote.
In a press release on Thursday, the Biden camp did not give a specific location for the event, only saying it would tentatively begin at 6:30 PM and a stream would be available.
That same day President Donald Trump will hold a rally in the Green Bay area.
The Badger state has been one of the centers of the campaign universe this week, with family members of both President Trump and Vice President Pence holding rallies throughout the week. That includes Trump himself visiting the La Crosse area, while Pence was at the Central Wisconsin Airport in Mosinee on Wednesday.
The latest polling numbers ahead of election day have shown Biden with between a four and a nine-point lead. Trump won Wisconsin by a thin margin back in 2016.
Of course, Biden was to accept his party’s nomination in Milwaukee during the Democratic National Convention, but that was scaled back into a virtual event. Biden instead accepted the nomination in Delaware as part of a speech that was broadcast to the convention.
Biden did spend part of Thursday holding a drive-in campaign rally in Florida, a state that Trump won in 2016.
