TAMPA, FL (WHBL) – The Green Bay Packers suffered their first defeat of the season on Sunday, losing in Tampa by a final of 38-10. Aaron Jones’ first quarter touchdown for the Packers would turn out to be their only touchdown on the day as the Packers blew a 10-0 lead.
Aaron Rodgers was just 16 of 35 for 160 yards, was intercepted twice, including a pick six in the second quarter, and was sacked four times. Mason Crosby made his only field goal for Green Bay, as they drop to 4-1.
For the Buccaneers, Jamel Dean and Mike Edwards opened the second quarter with interceptions on back-to-back drives, with Dean taking his to the house. Tom Brady passed for two TD’s and Ronald Jones rushed for 113 yards and two scores.
The Packers will visit the Texans on Sunday.
